"My art comes from sensing the harmony of nature in a landscape. I express subtle textures of colors in a bold fashion and build a surface structure.

"I enjoy the application of paint in my oil paintings and the textural surfaces and shapes in my monotypes and linocuts. I enjoy being in nature and most of my art is done "plein aire", outdoors on location."
