Oil and Multimedia Paintings

"My oil and multi media paintings have a lyric, poetic quality. They tell stories of places that exist beyond the mundane. The feminine image and animals hold symbolic, archetypal value. Everyday events have a playful twist, a mystical element with a touch of humor.

"I am inspired by the land, sky, animals and people of Northern New Mexico. I express these images through strong shapes, colors and rhythms.

"My love of color and shape has lead me to create many murals in the community with youth. I am an Artist-In-Residence in the schools and also an Enrichment Specialist for the Discovery After School Program.

"I am available to teach private or group classes, art commissions and mural projects."
